Jackie is an English instructor interested in Extensive Reading, usage-based methodologies, and technology in the classroom.

Darin is an English teacher and JALT member that is interested in both literature in language teaching and extensive reading. He believes the power of creativity and inspiring students to be creative too. Creativity provides motivation to think outside the box and take a step back from the textbook style of learning. Real language being used in real situations allowing real enjoyment and a feeling of accomplishment.

Originally from the US, I have been living in Taiwan for 7 years. I currently teach in the Department of Applied Foreign Languages at Overseas Chinese University in Taichung, Taiwan. Additionally, I'm completing a MA in Linguistics at National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei with a focus on L2 syntax acquisition. I'm an avid user of extensive reading in my own L2 acquisition journey and incorporate extensive reading into my classes.
