Matthew Carey holds an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and an M.A. in Applied Linguistics. He began his teaching career in 2004 and has taught English language learners of varying ability levels in the U.S., South Korea, and Qatar.

Hongli Fan holds a Ph. D. in applied linguistics and is currently teaching TESOL and French at State University of New York at Cortland.
